- suboptimal use of Remdesivir, or any other mutagen
- a few natural antibodies

And presto! Here is a variant with gain of function... And since there is fat, and manipulations take place on a large scale, we have the right to expect the worst... But then...

- DUETTO: official announcement of the ANRS:
the ANRS 177 DUETTO trial, which should start in early 2021, will evaluate the non-inferiority of dual antiretroviral therapy taken 4 days out of 7 compared to continuous dual therapy at week 48, in virologically successful patients on ART.
This should piss off more than a few people, and I'm surprised that pharisaical vetrology hasn't managed to get it cancelled yet... To be continued...

As a reminder, the objective is to evaluate the non-inferiority at 48 weeks of the strategy of taking antiretroviral treatment on 4 consecutive days out of 7 versus the strategy of continuous treatment 7 days out of 7, in patients with virological success on antiretroviral treatment (CV<50 copies/mL).

The results of the comparative phase, the only one allowing to rule on non-inferiority, are published. The authors concluded that the trial was non-inferior. The trial was continued to include all patients. The 2 arms being in the intervention, this continuation does not contribute to the comparison.

- New entry in my Eclipse bibliography: a CASTAGNA study, from 2019, with 9 patients, and a mini Eclipse of 2 weeks, mean at 21 d. As usual!
